Welcome to the Scotland360° website from Angus Mackie.
Featuring web based, interactive images and video of Scotland and the Scottish outdoors, there are several key themes running through the site.
Scottish mountain photography, sea kayaking photography around Scotland's beautiful and varied coastline, Scottish landscapes and iconic locations in Scotland are all showcased within the website.
Compiled from images taken over the last 35 years of living, working and exploring in the Highlands, this website is a resource, a shop window and a travelogue featuring Scotland as I know and enjoy it. I hope my photography inspires you to enjoy the land and the locations as much as I do.
Specialising in immersive, interactive photography, this website presents images in formats which include Panoramic views, Timelapse series and Multimedia presentations.
My Panorama pages depict Scottish landscape and mountain photography as high performance, interactive images which can be viewed in a number of different perspectives. The pages include 360° aerial photography using a remote control quadcopter which has yielded interesting results and new perspectives.
My PhotoBlog pages are updated regularly with accounts of sea kayaking and mountain days in some of Scotland's wild, scenic and sometimes remote areas.
The Multimedia page hosts videos of sea kayaking journeys and adventures around the Scottish coastline. A paddle from Port Appin to Castle Stalker features, along with a short clip of the rock arches and sea caves on the west coast of the Isle of Skye. The voyage to the remote archipelago of St Kilda is also presented here.
Look out too for the Timelapse sequences.
If you've enjoyed the photographs, I have a growing collection for sale. Visit my Online Sales page if you'd like to look at options for purchase.
And if you simply want to find out a little more about the person behind the camera, my About page will keep you informed about what I'm up to.
Finally, if you'd like to make contact, or give me your comments and feedback on the site, the techniques or any of the photos, my email address is provided on my Contact page.
Please browse the site and I hope you enjoy the Galleries, the Photoblog and my immersive images. I try to add to the pages on a regular basis, so why not look back again soon?
