Glen Affric provides superb photographic opportunities at all times of the year and is a magical place for landscape photographers.
Not only will we have wide open vistas but the River Affric is one of the central features of the day, providing us with opportunities to expand the photographic potential. Use the river as a backdrop, freeze the motion, slow it down to silky smoothness, capture the mood or display the power - there is plenty of scope here.
I offer tuition in landscape photography techniques; from scenic viewpoints to capture the sense of location and place, to more discrete settings to further refine your techniques. We'll use perspective and viewpoints to explore creative composition
This is a great workshop both for beginners and those looking for more advanced techniques. We'll look at the use of filters, contrasting light conditions and how to set up your camera for best results and the location is perfect for tuition in composition, perspective and the use of light.
Throughout the day I will provide tuition in the technical use of your camera. Shutter speeds, the use of filters and appropriate lens choice will contribute to your technical knowledge and understanding.
Bring along your tripod, filters and your choice of lenses.
